Meet our team

Dr Cely was raised in Augusta, GA and graduated from Lakeside High School in 1999.  She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Wake Forest University in 2003 and went on to attend medical school at the University of Louisville School from 2003-2007.  She then moved back to Augusta to complete a preliminary year in internal medicine and a residency in dermatology at the Medical College of Georgia.  Upon graduation in 2011, she joined Augusta Dermatology Associates and remained on as adjunct faculty at the Medical College of Georgia department of dermatology.  In 2015, she joined Savannah River Dermatology.  She is now excited to announce to not only be apart of our team, but the owner of Augusta Dermatology & Aesthetics Center!

Outside the office, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. She is married to Jim Cely & was excited to partner with him and Duckworth Development on the buildout of the new facility.  She and Jim have two children, Dorothy (12) and James (10).  If “Dr Hawkeye” is not in the clinic, you can typically find her cheering Dorothy and James on at their sporting events.
